ROLE OF ETHICS IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND
ETHICAL ISSUES IN HRM
1. Introduction
Human resource management is concerned with an organization's manpower planning and development. It's possible that it's the branch of management where ethics actually matter, because it deals with human issues like remuneration, development, labor relations, and health and safety.
2. What is the meaning of Ethics?
Ethics are the principles that have been instilled in a person and reinforced externally to assist him in distinguishing between good and wrong and acting accordingly. Ethics can come from a variety of places, including religion. Organizational culture, legal responsibilities…etc
3. Ethics in HRM?
It shows that employees are treated with common decency and distributive justice. Employees will be more motivated and work more efficiently and effectively if the business is ethical.

The importance of ethics in human resource management can be summarized as follows:
Ethics is the cornerstone of all human resource management practices. Indeed, human resources is concerned with the personal side of the organization, and it touches on a variety of challenges that necessitate the application of ethical principles. The employment of personnel and issues of promotion, discrimination, sexual harassment, and privacy, as well as the practice of specified workplace safety and health standards, are examples of this.

HR managers may assist firms in operating with due regard for fairness, integrity, and justice, both in preventing ethical problems from emerging and in dealing with them if they do.

Ethical difficulties are the most difficult to address or deal with of all the organizational challenges or problems. Employment, salary and benefits, industrial relations, and health and safety are all topics that come up.

Any business owner or manager's job entails paying close attention to business ethics. The human resources function has a number of ethical issues; as the department that deals directly with a company's employees, HR has a number of ethical problems that, if not managed appropriately, can harm a company's reputation or financial viability. Any business owner, whether at a small startup or a multinational giant, must understand the importance of ethics in human resources.

Employees from top to bottom were bound to adhere to it. In my opinion, young new employees recruiting in companies are reluctant to adapt to this. The result is what we are experiencing right now and the situation is getting worse as older employees retire. This is a good article. Good luck
When employees raise a concern about a job-related issue, they expect to be treated with respect. The employer must also be aware of how employees should be treated and how they might be developed. HR also needs to be careful when assigning job tasks, and it should always be fair to everyone. good article
